Boys soccer: Salvesen out at Wildwood Catholic
Wildwood Catholic High School will not bring George Salvesen back for a sixth season as head boys soccer coach, the school announced late Tuesday afternoon.
Salvesen was at the center of a controversy in October when he was responsible for two of his team's three red cards during a game at Pleasantville. Due to the three red cards, Wildwood Catholci was banned for the state tournament this fall. Salvesen sat out a mandatory four-game suspension but returned to coach the team for the final three games of the season.
