Staphanie Dugan scores 1,000th point
Congratulations to Lower Cape May Regional senior guard Stephanie Dugan, who scored her 1,000th career point in the Lady Tigers' 51-36 victory over St. Joseph in the regular-seasn finale for both teams.
Dugan, who needed 17 points to reach the milestone, got her 999th and 1,000th points on a drive through the lane with a little over a minute to play in the contest.
Lower Cape May, which plays a state playoff game Thursday night at home, finished the regular season at 18-8.

State tournament play begins Monday night. Locally, the Middle Township girls will play Cinnaminson in a Group II game at 7 p.m. WCZT-FM 98.7 will provide a live radio broadcast.
