Bishop to play at Bloomfield
Wildwood High School girls basketball star Shakiyrah Bishop will play at Division II Bloomfield College next year, Wildwood coach Dave Troiano announced at the team's awards dinner Saturday evening.
Bishop, who averaged 15.5 points per game for the season but upped her scoring efforts to 17 points per outing in the state playoffs, chose Bloomfield over Division III Rowan and Stockton.
Bishop helped lead Wildwood to the South Jersey Group I title and a berth in the state Group I championship game.
