North Wildwood men's basketball league title game decided in 2 OTs
John Taylor posted 22 points and Hazin Harris added 20 as Tri-State Tar Heels won the championship game of the North Wildwood Recreation men's/college summer basketball league over Flip Flopz, 75-72, in two overtimes Monay night.
Flip Flopz opened the scoring of the second overtime when Kyle Wakefield made a three-pointer with 2:35 to go, but Taylor and Harris combined for three points each as Tri-State scored six unanswered points to end the game.
Wakefield posted a game-high 27 points and fellow Middle Township High School graduate Dave Smith added 21 points and 14 rebounds in the loss.
