Middle grad nets career high for Haverford

Middle Township High School graduate Brent Anderson had one of the best games of his college career Tuesday night.

Anderson, a 6-4 senior forward on the Haverford College men's basketball team, shot 5 for 7 from the floor and made all seven of his free-throw attempts to score a career-high 17 points in leading Haverford to a 70-57 victory over previously unbeaten Catholic University. Haverford (2-1) trailed by 10 points at intermission but outscored Catholic 45-22 in the second half.

Wildwood Catholic gradaute Clark Hindelang, a freshman for Catholic (4-1), scored four points in 12 minutes of action.
