After the Wildwood Recreation Department's recreation maintenance staff worked all day on Monday to make Maxwell Field playable for the Warrior Classic baseball tournament championship game betweeen Middle Township and Wildwood, rain ended up washing the game out before it became official.

Middle led the Warriors, 3-1, in the third inning when the skies opened up and forced the umpires to call the contest due to inclement weather and poor field conditions. The game will be replayed in its entirety at a date to be determined, Wildwood coach Rich Hans said.
